| Take two... |
Recently I have had the chance to reunite (via internet) with my good friend Petra. Now granted we haven't seen each other in over two years and simply spent a summer together working at camp, but Petra is one of those people you can't help but like. She is completely kind and not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. That one summer at camp, I learned from Petra and her sister Martina the importance of being authentic, something I've always appreciated, but often struggle to truly implement in my own life.
So why do I bring up Petra in my blog? Because of her blog; it has encouraged me to make another attempt at spending a few minutes writing about my life on a more regular basis. Now granted, I'm not in Denmark as a dean this year and newly engaged as she is, but there is always a lesson to learn each and every day. I shall make an attempt to find these random gems and share them in an attempt to expand on my writing skills.
Fear not; though I have homework I must concentrate on at this time, I do plan to return later today to stretch my mind and encourage my mind to express what it tends to hold inside. |
